Harry and Dee Dee met in August of 2011 as they were both preparing to embark on a missions trip led by Island Evangelical Community Church to Bohol, Philippines.  It was Harry’s second year participating in the Philippines trip, and Dee Dee’s first.  During the trip, they were put on separate teams to build septic toilets for rural villages in Bohol.  However, they were able to get to know each other during joint team activities and a friendship began.  Four months later, Harry and Dee Dee were enroute to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to visit friends when Harry “officially” asked Dee Dee out in mid-flight.  They started their relationship as a couple in Cambodia and have since had the chance to travel together to many other countries including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, USA, Netherlands, Mauritius, and Reunion Island.  It is with joy that they will celebrate their wedding with their closest family and loved ones on the island of Phuket.
